Stirling Grove, situated in Breadalbane, Tasmania specialises in the breeding of premium Poll Herefords renowned for their exceptional genetic traits. With a small herd and a commitment to quality, Stirling Grove sources genetics from top Poll Hereford super sires, including Yavenvale, Glentrevor and Injemira. Through careful selection and breeding practices, Stirling Grove consistently produces sound traditional-type cattle focusing on fertility, growth, frame, and temperament.
Stirling Grove was established in 2016 by Anna and Mike Henry, who came from family farming backgrounds with a passion for breeding the finest Poll Hereford cattle.
Their small-scale stud grew from Chester, Ravensdale and Lachanora, lines genetics and today, pride themselves on breeding sound traditional type cattle with a focus on fertility, growth, frame, and temperament fit for any commercial operation.

With a commitment to quality over quantity, they are driven to enhance Stirling Grove’s genetic portfolio by sourcing semen from top super sires, including Yavenvale, Glentrevor and Injemira.
Stirling Grove’s relatively small acreage has resulted in cattle yielding significantly high live weight per hectare, making them the perfect choice for large and small operations.
Located in picturesque Breadalbane on the outskirts of Launceston in Northern Tasmania, Stirling Grove welcomes visitors and inspection of sale lots by appointment.
